For those who aren’t aware, tomorrow is the University Open day for the ANU. I will be in the Gold and Silversmithing workshop all day. Everyone is more then welcome to come by and have a look around. The Eleventimestwenty Exhibition is still on display and all pieces are for sale. So if you missed the opening night last night, you can swing by tomorrow.
There will also be other jewellery pieces for sale exclusively on Open Day in our workshop.
We will also be selling raffle tickets for the Annual Gold and Silversmithing Workshop silver ball chains. Each student in the workshop makes two balls each and they are strung together and make really beautiful necklaces.
Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00
Come and show your support and for a sticky beak.

So from the images in the previous post you get the gist of what I am working on currently. This is a production line for one of our assignments and we have to make 20 in the line. This assignment is in response to another project where we are designing catwalk accessories for a local boutique, Department of the Exterior – but on a much larger scale. The ones in the images below are the smaller more sellable pieces and to celebrate our completion of these objects there will be a exhibition.
So I am letting you know in advance.
The exhibition is named
eleventimestwenty
and it will be on display in the newly named gold and silversmithing workshop entrance gallery
Out of hand
on the 27th of August 2009. Put it on your calenders and in your diaries. Everyone is invited to come and check out my first group exhibition.
There will be more news on this closer to the date.
