As promised here are the professional images of my Hooded series from the Crowned and Bound Fashion Collaboration courtesy of Nathan Lahnam.
I have not actually posted many images of these pieces – I think they are genius! Seriously, I am very happy with the finished look. When they are worn they make sense!
I was so pleased with the way they were worn and the clothes they were teamed with. All you need do is ask those who were standing around me during the parade – I was giggling like a little girl.
I hope you like them – buy a spray can.
These first images were taken on the rehearsal night.

This was one of the first designs – I would wear this. It is clear plastic and slips on over the head.

This is the only fabric Hood, it has this really cool black mesh over the top. You may not be able to see here but it also has an aluminium brim.

This is my favourite image. This is the back Hoodie. It is worn on the arms like a back back and can be worn down or up.
The other really cool pieces are from a fellow student Mary-Claire. They are awesome.

I think I will open a Flickr account soon and post all of these and all the other pieces from the show. Then you can get more of an idea of the other accessories.
You will be able to watch the parade yourself very soon. The video is being edited and will be posted on Youtube. I will keep you updated.

If you missed tonights opening, here are some images of the tagged series on display for the eleventimestwenty exhibition.
If you are interested in purchasing any of my pieces let me know. There are special meanings for each colour though, you might want to read those before you pick a colour.
The other three showcases in the exhibition. Really cool work on display and for sale. Brooches, earrings, hair pins, necklaces.

This is a picture of people looking at the tagged pieces in their showcase. You can see them hanging on the wall.
Unfortunately my computer doesn’t let me rotate images and it takes a long time to upload, so watch this space. I will upload close up pictures of the display layout tomorrow on the fast high tech university computers.
Thanks to all the family that came and helped support myself and the workshop tonight, I really appreciate it.

I did some more anodising in the last few days – I picked some new colours for the spray cans. They are all finished now, but I am not completely happy with the overall colour combination. Here are some pics.
I am just testing the temp of the dyes before I put the pieces into the dyes. It can not rise above 60 degrees.

This is the pieces during the dying process. You can see how the dye is taking.

During the sealing process – you boil in hot water for an hour.

So, I got the inserts of the toggles back today! And some rather large nozzles.
Which do you prefer the little nozzles with the red dots or the over-sized (good looking hair) nozzles? Let me know.

Here is a preview of the complete tagged series. This is just a quick made up version I did to be photographed for all our advertising and promotion for the eleventimestwenty exhibition.

I will be anodising again soon when I get the insides of the toggles so I can drill the outter layers. So you will see some new colours soon.. Hopefully.
Hope you enoy, and can’t wait to see the finished products.
