I am going to post some of the pictures of my hoods from the Fashion parade. Later today. Stay tuned. K.
There has been talk in the camp..
The name Kemmo is actually suppose to be pronounced Ke-mo, rather then Kem-mo. It is a long story, ask me about it if you really want to know, I am a good story teller.
So after talks with a respected opinion, we feel an accent may be in order.

This is the original text I was going to be using on my website – but to have them all in capitals makes the accent look lonely.
The two fonts below are just test fonts to see what looks good and is going to work nicely with my site.
Let me know your thoughts on the matter. K.

For those who aren’t aware, tomorrow is the University Open day for the ANU. I will be in the Gold and Silversmithing workshop all day. Everyone is more then welcome to come by and have a look around. The Eleventimestwenty Exhibition is still on display and all pieces are for sale. So if you missed the opening night last night, you can swing by tomorrow.
There will also be other jewellery pieces for sale exclusively on Open Day in our workshop.
We will also be selling raffle tickets for the Annual Gold and Silversmithing Workshop silver ball chains. Each student in the workshop makes two balls each and they are strung together and make really beautiful necklaces.
Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00
Come and show your support and for a sticky beak.
For those who know me, and I suppose those who don’t .. just a little poll for you. K.
We were discussing domain names and registering business names. I am curious to know what you guys think.

If you haven’t been able to already tell. This semester I am looking at fun light heartedness. It’s something I really look for in a wearable piece, especially if it makes me laugh. I am unsure yet if I will be making any sort of personal comment, but we will see.
These images are just a few of some necklaces I made quite a few years ago, long before I started my degree. I think they are fun and cute and I have actually worn the farm animal one. It got some funny looks.

This is a close up.
This is for the for the tom boy in me, from the days when I use to play with G.I Joes with my brother in the garden.

And here is the final close up.
Hope you like. K.

Research time.
I looked through some books today and wrote down names of artists whose work I saw and really liked. The ones I am really interested in are the ones I squealed for…
I saw these awesome pieces in a book named (Adorn – New Jewellery) The pieces are by a designer named Hannah Havana.

I think I am in love.
This piece is named She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not by Hannah Havana (via www.garudiostudiage.com)
Have a look at this website – it is great!
I don’t often want things, but there are some I simply need. This is one -

These are named Flat Pets by Chris Ratcliffe (via www.garudiostudiage.com)
They speak for themselves – I know a good home looking for a Flat pet.

Hi all!
No, I am not missing in action. I am alive!
I just looked and it has been a month since my last post. I am a terrible blogger. At the end of semester I was creatively exhausted – now that I am revived and my creative juices are flowing again, I will try and post regularly as per usual.
This semester I will only be working on one project of my own. So hopefully the blog will be easier to follow when visiting. Again I am going to use this as an online journal, for others to browse around and also for myself. It gives me a very organised view of my work and what I am doing.
There may be a few other goodies I will be working on, but for now they are under wraps. Stay tuned though.
Also I would still love feedback on my work and ideas. Good or bad. So drop me a line. K.
